My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bernie is a neutered male who came to us at about 3 months old with his sister Dash. He lives outside and has his own house in a covered, weather-protected area next to the house. He's a happy, energetic guy who's smart, but a bit of a doofus. He loves to play tug-of-war but destroys soft toys immediately. He's a foody who'll work for treats. He's had no problems with adults and teens but has not been around children. He'll walk on a leash but needs work as he still pulls, he needs to know that you're in charge.

We're rehoming because, in all of our attempts, we've not been able to keep him in the yard. He has a high prey drive and goes after small animals like cats and birds. He escaped and killed the neighbor's chickens.

If given the opportunity, Bernie would make a great house dog.
