I picked up Daisy from the Tacoma Humane Society in March 2018 she was only two months old. At the time as a single woman living in the Tacoma area Daisy was a great companion for me. 2024 my life has changed, I have a three-year-old son, two jobs and took in another large breed rescue. I live in a small, 2 Bedroom up until about a year ago both dogs had access to a large yard, which allowed them to roam freely. Unfortunately that access has changed and it has caused both dogs, physical health to decline, they don’t have any outstanding health issues, except weight gains due to lack of access to the outside while Im working. I’ve struggled for a long time with the idea of rehoming Daisy, she was there for me at a very important part of my life but as my family, career, and responsibilities change. I have noticed I have not been able to provide either with the amount of attention and action she deserves.
