My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**SEEKING FOSTER, FOSTER-TO-ADOPT, OR ADOPTER**

Meet Princess Lula. If you’re someone who loves to get out for a walk or even hike and want a buddy, she wants to meet you. She’s approximately six years old and a lean 56 pounds.

Princess Lula has proven herself to be a quick learner who is eager to love and be loved. If you break out a hose or a kiddie pool, you’ll see her really light up. She’s a good roommate who sleeps through the night and is fully house-trained and crate-trained. She enjoyed condo life with a temp foster so we know she would be happy living in an apartment, condo, or house environment. You can also expect a solid walker on the leash and a dog who is good in the car. Princess Lula’s best days have involved time with her toys, long walks or hikes with her foster, learning new things, meeting new people, and a good cuddle. She loves a belly scratch.

Since she’s a current student of K9 Kommittee (dog trainer), her foster or adopter would have the opportunity to work with the team and continue the good foundation they’ve laid. During the transition period, K9 Kommittee would work with you in and outside the home; so, if you’re the type of person who loves to learn new skills and immediately put them to good use, this would be a great opportunity to learn from one of the best.

If you feel like you would be a good match for this girl who deserves another lease on life, please submit an application today!

More about this rescue

K9 Kismet Dog Rescue is a foster-based, volunteer-run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Long Beach, CA. Founded in 2015, our dedicated team has helped to place hundreds of animals in loving, permanent homes.

Our primary mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and find loving, permanent homes for homeless dogs, specifically dogs in shelters at-risk of euthanasia and dogs whose owners can no longer care for them. We believe in compassionate rescue when the dog is enduring inhumane living conditions or likely to be deemed less adoptable due to age, health, emotional state, or breed. We ensure that all the dogs we take into our rescue, regardless of individual needs, are cared for with love and compassion for the duration of their lives.

We strive to make a difference in the life of each dog we bring into our pack, and our commitment to each dog doesn’t end once they are adopted. We provide lifelong support to all K9 Kismet alumni should an emergency arise. Once a K9 Kismet Dog, always a K9 Kismet Dog. This isn’t a catch phrase; this is a core value.
