Effy came into our lives March of 2022. We got her from a family friend whose cat had kittens, and we were so excited to welcome her into our home. We already had two cats, Toby and Lucy, who got along great. Then, we found out in June I was pregnant and due December 2022. Shocked, because I was already so far along in pregnancy, we thought about finding a new home for Effy, as our house really had no room for a new baby and three cats. Sadly, my first cat Toby passed away in September of 2022. I was devastated, but relieved that Effy could stay with us after all. I am a person who believes when you adopt a pet, you make a commitment to them, and do not give them away at the slightest inconvenience. Fast forward to now, we recently got Effy fixed. After coming home, her and Lucy, our other cat, fight constantly. We've tried everything. Reintroducing them, separate living areas, another litter box, sprays, essential oils, separate toys. This is why we must find Effy a new, loving home.
