My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chessie is a 12-yr. old orange tabby DSH spayed female Chessie apparently has a Manx background—she does not have a tail. (Just a stub) Chessie is a very smart cat and likes to be up high so she can look down on everything. Her disposition is adaptive to all situations. Nothing seems to stress her; takes everything in stride. Chessie is very social and not afraid of people. She will seek out a lap to curl up in when it suits her! Chessie has developed a cough and we haven't gotten her checked out for that yet.

A senior couple in Harrisonburg, VA has been providing a loving home to cats for many years. However, they now need to move to a senior living facility and can't take their cats with them. All of the cats have been pampered indoor only cats and have not been around dogs or children.

Please help us find homes for these cats. Move date is March 8, 2024!
