And because the cycle is just never ending, we took in Miss Sky, a 2 year old Frenchie. She was on an urgent rescue list due to the neglect and abuse she had suffered. She was confiscated from her original home starving, with sores covering her legs from dog fights with the male in the home and just all around neglected. She is feisty and full of life though! The will to live with these animals is incredible. She loves children and does well with other animals with slow introductions.
Sky is on to bigger and better things and is plumping up nicely! She cannot be spayed until she is in a little heavier but we anticipate that she will be cleared to do so in the next few months.
