My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Watch out! Woody is in the house and it’s a party (poodle that is)! This fabulous little guy is a white/blue merle miniature party poodle rescued on 1/13/24. He was initially a little timid, but that is all behind him now. He is a very smart and active little firecracker. He would be a great candidate for agility training. He quickly learned how to walk on a leash and loves all the attention you can give him. Woody’s date of birth is 5/9/22. He weighed 15.6 pounds on 1/15/24. He had been shaved prior to our getting him which is why his hair is so short in his pictures. Woody is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworms. He is being kept on heartworm and flea and tick prevention to maintain his good health. He was neutered and had a dental on 2/9/24. His adoption donation is $700 with an additional $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Woody, please complete the first step in the adoption process by filling out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers.
After you submit your application, please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home.
Once your application has been approved a volunteer will contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
