My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Yoyo, the charming Shar Pei/Pittie mix with a heart as big as his adorable, boopable nose. Yoyo may seem a bit shy at first, but once you get to know him, you'll discover a bubbly guy who loves humans as much as he loves other dogs. This sweet boy is looking for a forever home where he can thrive without the hustle and bustle of children, he would be most comfortable with children 14&yp. Yoyo can easily get overwhelmed in new situations, so a calm and understanding environment would be ideal for him to blossom into his true self. One of Yoyo's greatest joys is spending time with his furry friends. He's the social butterfly of the shelter, making him the most popular pup in playgroup with both boys and girls alike. If you have a playful and established canine companion, Yoyo would fit right into your family like a missing puzzle piece. He would love to learn his big-boy manners from another pup who will also wrestle with him. Yoyo is sure to steal your heart from the moment you meet him. Despite his initial shyness, he keeps a tidy kennel and eagerly looks forward to leisurely walks where he can explore the world around him.
YoYo is available for foster, foster to adopt and an outright adoption! Email us at foster@cuyahogacounty.us today to learn more about this hunk!

Where Our Dogs Come From

Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter is a temporary home for dogs that are found on the streets by the county dog wardens. Dogs are held for 72 hours in order for the owner to claim them. After the holding period, unclaimed dogs may be available for adoption.
