Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Lover Boy, a three-and-a-half-year-old male American Staffordshire Terrier mix weighing 59 pounds. His name, Lover Boy, is a perfect reflection of his deeply affectionate demeanor, which resonates through every interaction and endears him to all who cross his path. His eagerness to express love, whether through enthusiastic greetings or cozy snuggles, reveals a heart as big as his build, ensuring that he doesn't just capture hearts-he becomes an irreplaceable part of them.
Lover Boy will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. If you have other dogs in your home, we would be happy to arrange a meet and greet with your dog(s) to make sure everyone gets along. We do not know how he will do with cats.
Lover Boy is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered, and ready to go home today.
The shelter is currently open by appointment only. Fill out an application to schedule an appointment today!
