Emmy is a very sweet tempered Senior cat. She followed my children and I home one afternoon while walking our dog when we moved to the area. She does have a microchip, but after taking her to the vet and them attempting to contact the listed owners several times without response, she came to stay with us. We did not want her to go into the system after she had already chosen us. She is approximately 11 years old.
Emmy loves being around people, being pet, and cuddling up on the couch. She tolerates baths and some handling but is not a huge fan of being picked up. She can be vocal when she wants your attention.
We are searching for a new home for her because we would love her to have a stress free environment to live out her golden years. One of my kids is allergic to cats and she is easily annoyed by our high energy dog - we are having to section off the house and close doors, which is unfair to Emmy and our reason for rehoming.
