Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Intake Date: 11 February 2024 -------- Age at Intake: 10 months ----- Breed: Boxer mix ----- Size: 35 lbs ----- Status: Owner Surrender----- Compatible with: Dogs, children. Have not cat tested but was very excited to see outdoor cats ----- Suitable for: home with a fenced yard ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: none noted ----- Additional Notes: Welcome Scarlett! Scarlett was adopted from a shelter a few weeks ago and sadly, they were not supported in return when it wasn't a fit and the adopters were referred to us. It took us time and no other rescue was able to intake either so we eventually squeezed Miss Scarlett into rescue. Her return was due to no fault of her own, but a change in her family's dynamic. Unfortunately, she was not spayed at the shelter she was at and so we have to get that done too. If you would like to support her vet care as a multi-time shelter/rescue dog, we would love the support. Scarlett deserves to be fully vetted and find her forever home. She is a young dog so a bit higher energy and pulls on a leash, but both are things that are easily worked with. She hasn't been aggressive and meets new people well. Scarlett would do best with a fenced yard to stretch her legs and burn her puppy energy.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption is finalized at that time. Adoption fee is $175 and all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are not guaranteed but often a best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. If a yard is present, a secure fence is prioritized.
