More about this shelter

This new shelter has community rooms for cats, get acquainted yards for dogs, separate quarters for bunnies, a medical suite for special animal care, and for the humans, a community conference space, a pleasant atmosphere, and plenty of parking. There are 101 kennels for dogs at West LA filled with companion animals, all needing safe and loving homes.

We envision the day when every pet born is ensured a good home and care all its natural life and no animal will suffer because of abuse, neglect or ignorance, and all citizens, their property and neighborhoods are safe from the dangers and nuisances of irresponsible pet guardianship.

We create happiness by bringing pets and people together. Saving animals' lives is our first priority.
