My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NOTE: THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING FOR THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER IN CARLSBAD. YOU WILL NEED TO CONTACT THEM TO MEET WILLOW. 2481 Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad, CA 92011. Willow is available for adoption or to foster. The shelter is open for animal viewing Tue-Fri from 1 pm to 3:30 pm and Sat-Sun from 10 am until 3:30 pm. You can also meet Willow at other times by scheduling an appointment at (619)767-2675. Be sure to mention Willow's ID number, which is A1919297.

Introducing Willow, a young beauty whose name says it all. She is tall, graceful, and high-spirited. This long-legged darling has a non-stop playful side. She loves to play with other dogs, toys, and people, too, and she will play the day away. But knowing that there is more to life than playing, Willow adores spending time with her handler, giving and receiving affection, learning commands (especially with treats!), and going for walks. True to her hound genes, she has lots of energy and walks best with an EasyWalk or similar harness, which reminds her to slow down.

Willow is a black and brown Hound/Doberman Pinscher mix. She is two years old and weighs 67.6 lbs. Willow appears to be house-trained and does her best to take care of personal business when she is outside of her kennel. This fine young lady also plays well with other dogs; she participates in several play groups.

Willow tells us that her perfect home would be one with an active family who will take her on all kinds of outdoor adventures, and having another dog of similar energy to play with would be a bonus.

If Willow is your kind of gal, she would love to meet you at the San Diego County Animal Shelter North Campus, 2481 Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad, CA 92011. Willow is available for adoption or to foster. The shelter is open for animal viewing Tue-Fri from 1 to 3:30 pm and Sat-Sun from 10 am until 3:30 pm. You can also meet Willow at other times by scheduling an appointment at (619)767-2675. Be sure to mention Willow's ID number, which is A1919297.
