Meet Scatter: Scatter is about a 1 year old (as of February 2024) English Coonhound mix (best guess) that weighs about 50 pounds. Scatter appeared one day at the home of one of our rescue associates - he selected the right home to stumble upon! Unfortunately, Scatter had a previous owner who attempted to castrate him unsuccessfully! This sweet boy was taken to the vet where his wounds were treated and his vetting completed. We promised Scatter he will only be shown love and affection from here on out and want to find him a great home! Scatter is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Scatter is a very friendly dog in spite of his mistreatment at the hands of his former owner. Scatter is house trained to a doggie door and we would expect him to need some patience while adjusting to a new routine. We would love for Scatter to have a home with a fenced in yard for him to run and play freely. Scatter is up to date on his shots and neutered (correctly). If you are interested in adopting this lucky pup, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application.
