Isadore (Dorey) is a spunky little girl nicknamed fireball because she is a blur of red when she is running around the house!
Isadore is an active lady but when she is tired she will put herself to rest somewhere quiet or in a dog bed. She can be a little unsure about being picked up and will run from you at first. Once you catch her, she is butter in your arms!
Isadore loves to play and we will be looking for a playmate for her in her new home. She enjoys running around in the yard, wrestling with the other foster pups and looking for mischief!
Isadore has an umbilical hernia that will need repaired at time of spay. We will cover that expense if using our Decatur vet.
Isadore's adoption is $500. She has not been spayed due to her young age, as we wait until 6 months. A spay contract is required and we will cover the expense if using our Decatur vet. She is microchipped, current on vaccines, and on flea/heart worm prevention.
PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing.
All of our dogs are in foster homes and a meet and greet is done ONLY after an approved application.
We do adopt out of the area. However, we do not ship or provide transportation. You must come to the location of the dog to meet and adopt. NO EXCEPTION. All family members and dogs must be present at the meet.
Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!

We are a licensed foster based rescue. We rescue mostly seniors and special need dogs as these are normally the first to be euthanized in shelters.
Our Mission:
To rescue, rehabilitate and rehome unwanted dogs and find the best home for each dog in our care. Our belief is all healthy and treatable dogs, regardless of breed or age, have the right to life, happiness, and love.
