My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Posted February 2024

Boone is the sweetest soul! He is 65 lbs of sweetness! Boone is living with a female dog and his foster parents in Maine and he is just the most loving and good-looking boy! Their mom is a Great Pyrenees and the dad was most likely a shepherd mix. They still have some growing to do since they are only 10 months old. Whoever adopts Boone will be getting a GREAT and well-adjusted dog

To apply to adopt Boone or any of our sweeties, please check out our application.

Please note: We do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes primarily in southern Maine. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and comfortable.

Thank you for considering rescue!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We require a completed application, reference checks and a home visit before families meet a prospective new family member. Our standard adoption fees are $350.00 for dogs under 6 months of age, $325 for dogs 6 months to 6 years of age, and $250.00 for dogs 7 and older.

Go meet their pets

We do not have a physical facility, all our dogs are cared for in foster families. Once approved through our rescue we will make arrangements for you to meet your potential new family member.

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer-run organization dedicated to saving dogs that are surrendered locally or that are in danger in high-kill shelters. Our only desire is to place our dogs with loving forever homes. All dogs are in foster care prior to adoption for a minimum of one week, and you are welcome to meet available dogs after your application is approved.
