My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chica!

Miss Chica is looking for a calm home to help her recover and heal. Chica is a very loving pitbull mix who was unfortunately diagnosed with Heartworms in December of 2023. She is currently undergoing treatments, and will be so until into the late spring or early summer. Since she is undergoing treatments, she is not available for adoption, however she is searching for a dedicated foster to give her a comfy place to undergo treatment. Chica weighs roughly 60lbs, and is dog and kid friendly, but no yet tested with cats.

Her foster would be responsible for giving Chica her oral medications as directed, and bringing her to the shelter for check-ins and injections. Chica needs a home that is able to give her love, security, and a calm place for her to rest. All medications and treatments are covered by the Humane Society.
