Meet Babe Ruth!
This dapper gentleman is estimated to be around 2 or 3 years old. He was being fed by a group of neighbors for quite some time, and after a while, these neighbors decided that he was friendly enough to deserve a home and family of his own. Babe Ruth was taken to HSoP, and now he's on the hunt for just that!
This sweet boy is still waiting to be neutered, but he'll be all set to go home once that procedure is over. He's still accepting visitors and volunteers in the meantime! Babe Ruth is already up to date on vaccines and will leave HSoP with a microchip containing his new owner's information. His adoption fee is $100.
Babe Ruth is a talkative and lovable cat who would likely excel at being a lap warmer! He always has something important to say, and gets excited to greet our staff members each morning. Babe Ruth is much more interested in affection from people than his treats or toys. If it were up to him, he's be laid across your lap getting head scratches all day long! He's been pretty outgoing at the shelter and doesn't take really any time to warm up with new people.
Since he was brought in as a stray, we aren't sure how Babe Ruth gets along with dogs, other cats, children, or small animals. We do offer a seven-day foster period with each adoption, to help ensure a good fit for all members of the family.
Those interested in meeting Babe Ruth should visit him at HSoP! We're open 1:00-6:00pm Monday through Saturday and dog kennels close at 5:00pm each day.
