My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ok...so here it is. My foster mom says that I'm special in a different special way. I had some bad luck and was hurt by some little humans. I don't remember coming to her house because everything was pretty foggy back then. Since I've been here I can see and walk again and I've learned how to run...or hop...sort of. Mom calls me her little GATE kid 'cause I'm so smart! It really wasn't that hard to figure out to just hang out close to her. She's like a treat ATM. Come meet me!

Update: as time moves on, Nathan has become a little reclusive. He has trouble walking, but does a great job. His little hopping antics are adorable. After everything he’s been through he deserves to just hang out in a little sun spot. Best home would have a safe outdoor enclosure so he can get some fresh air. Cat grass growing is a must. It will be an adjustment for him to go to a new home but I really think he can do it. Fingers crossed we’ll see! 2/15/2024

Additional adoption info

So you've fallen in love right? What do I do next?
Potential adopters will fill out an adoption application through our website and agree to a home check before they are considered as an adopter.
We ask for a donation fee of $125.00 per cat. All cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (age appropriate) dewormed and behavior screened. We make the best human/cat match possible. We ask that Surfcats be kept indoors only as they are not suited for unsupervised outdoor living.
