Princess, here! I found myself at CAHS when my previous owner could no longer care for me. It's been quite an adjustment getting used to all the changes in my life, and I'm still a bit unsure about this new place. While I've had positive experiences with other cats in the past, the stress of transitioning has made me a bit cautious around the cats here.
For now, I might do best as the only pet in the home as I settle in. Alternatively, a patient family committed to a slow and proper introduction to any current cats would be ideal.
In my previous experiences, I've had a preference for women and a calm, female-dominated home sounds just purr-fect to me. I would prefer a home without young children, where I can relax and feel at ease.
