My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dougie came into rescue after his family in a Northern remote community, had to evacuate due to fires in the community and were not able to take their pets with them. He had been free roaming with little training, so he was placed into a board and train for 5 weeks to work on his skills and some leash reactivity. He is a high energy boy that really loves to play ball, and enjoys his long trail walks. Due to his size and exuberance, we do not recommend a home with young children. Dougie's would be best suited for a rural environment with less stimulation than a city and more opportunities to burn off some energy. He responded well to a structured environment. He is a super sweet boy that would make a great companion and co-pilot as you go about your day.
