1. Rescue Story
When Gaon first entered Korean city shelter, his body was covered in deep wounds that looked like abrasions from being dragged around. Although it's unclear what he went through, fortunately, Gaon quickly opened his heart to people. He enjoys walks, delicious meals, and is overall healthy and well.
2. Basic Information
* with people: Friendly to strangers and people of all ages. Gaon eagerly greets his family, wagging his tail vigorously, and spends the day gazing at his guardian. He's very affectionate and will come over for attention if left alone.
* with Dogs: Loves other dogs and becomes the life of the party in places with lots of canine friends. He enjoys rough play but has never shown aggression. He plays tirelessly with his friends.
* with Cats: Shows a lot of interest in cats he meets on the street but might be too enthusiastic for some feline friends.
* Separation Anxiety: None. While he loves people, he enjoys his alone time without barking or whining.
* Housebroken: Mostly does his business outdoors but may use indoor facilities if necessary. Success rate is high when provided with a designated area.
* Hygiene: Tolerates baths, brushing, and nail trimming well.
* Walks: Loves walks and behaves well, but may get excited or pull when meeting other dogs, so ongoing training is recommended.
* Car Sickness: Generally doesn't experience car sickness but may vomit if overly full or if the ride is very bumpy.
3. Special Notes
* Knows commands like sit, lie down, shake hands, touch, turn around, wait, and even plays the shell game. Currently learning how to play fetch.
* Rarely barks but may vocalize occasionally to communicate.
* Gaon is a bundle of energy and enjoys playing with friends. He needs plenty of exercise to stay happy.
