Rosco is a super playful and engaging young gentleman, with great manners. He is a super snuggler at his choice, he loves to play (and is very good at chasing the laser pointer) and is incredibly food motivated! He purrs immediately when he sees his humans.
He is still getting used to hearing loud or sudden noises and how to play and be around other cats but is settling into his foster's home more and more each day. He loves long cat naps in the sun and to laze around on the couch. His favourite past time is sitting in the windows watching birds and whatever else might be happening in the neighbourhood.
He has excellent litter box habits and is a generally tidy boy.
Rosco came to our rescue when he required live saving surgery to treat a urinary blockage. He had an additional surgery called a perineal urethrostomy which creates a new urinary opening that decreases the length of the urethra and allows urine to bypass this narrowed region. This surgery aims to decrease the likelihood of recurring obstruction. He is on a veterinary urinary diet to help support his urinary tract health and this diet will be recommended life-long. Throughout this entire experience Rosco has remained the sweetest boy and was a favourite of all the hospital staff during his stays!
If you think this purrfect boy would make a great addition to your home, apply online today!
Rosco is neutered, has his core and non-core vaccines, is dewormed, treated for fleas, microchipped and tested negative for Feline Leukemia and Immunodeficiency viruses.
