Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Donkey is a sweet 3 year old male American Shorthair adopted from the ACC. Donkey plays too rough with the resident senior cat and we are helping to find him a new home. This is a courtesy post.
He’s a lovable goofball—playful and active and a little bit neurotic—but he also likes to cuddle and rub up against his humans when it’s time to chill out. He’s pretty chatty, especially when it’s time to be fed. He can be a little skittish at first, but he likes to be around people and he warms up quickly.
Donkey experienced a urinary blockage in October, and was prescribed Hill’s CD Prescription Diet to avoid future problems. He has had no problems since switching to the urinary diet, and he's healthy and happy otherwise!
Donkey loves to play rough with other cats, so he might be best in a home without other pets, but he could be a good fit if your current cat also loves to play fight and can keep up.
All cats and kittens are rescued from the streets, abandoned, or pulled from at-risk list at city shelter. All are vaccinated, tested for FIV and FELV, dewormed, and spayed/neutered (if old enough). If the kitten is not old enough to be spayed/neutered we will do so at a later date, post-adoption. All adoptions require an application and donation.
If interested in meeting and possibly adopting our cat or kitten please complete an adoption application (link below)
