My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Max or "Maximus the great" as he's affectionately nicknamed. This 8 month old Lab cross is a gem who's looking for a family to spoil him on the regular. 💙
Max is great with other dogs and one of his favourite pastimes includes playing tug-of-war. he's currently seeking a home with another dog to help him with some separation anxiety. Max was a little timid of children at first but he's quickly opened up and now realizes how fun it is to be around the little ones. Max has even met two pot belly pigs....he had lots to say to them through the fence as he was really curious about these mysterious creatures. 🐷🐷
Potty training has been a dream with Max as he's fully potty trained and knows to do his business outside. If you see Max sleeping under your bed, don't panic. It's also one of his favourite places to be for a snooze. 💤💤 Max loves food, like a lot. If given the chance, he will inhale his food faster than it takes to prepare it. He's been using a slow feeder bowl which is helping him enjoy mealtime. ☺️
Max likes to run and play but he's also fine just chilling out and resting by your side. Max is learning all about the world around him and sometimes gets scared of things unknown. But like the amazing boy he is, he settles immediately and goes back to playing or resting.
If you're looking for a sidekick to be your new best friend.....a walking buddy, a running companion or just a sweet boy to hang out with everyday....Max is your guy! Apply today to meet this sweetheart! 💙
**At this time, Max has not been tested with cats.
