My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This dog is a courtesy listing for one of our rescue partners Allen county animal rescue facility. They are a rural animal control shelter near Iola KS. Many dogs are brought to their facility after being found as strays, dumped, surrendered, or brought in by the city. However, because they are in such a rural town, they have a very small pool of adopters and have a hard time finding homes for the dogs in the shelter. Our promise as their rescue partner is that should someone apply through us, we will handle any transportation needed to get the dog to their forever home, we will assist with home visits, dog intros and anything needed to help get these dogs out of the shelter and into loving homes. Landry is the biggest baby you'll ever meet. He is 82 pounds in the physical world, but his soul is 10 pounds. He is a lover and wants to be wherever his people are. Landry does well with people, though can be shy at first, as well as other dogs! No cats for this fella, though. Truly, this snuggle bug would love to be your new best friend. Please complete our online adoption application if you wish to apply for one of our adoptable pets. Adoption fees range from $125 to $350. All dogs adopted from PAWS come with 1 months of free day care at KCPaws All pets adopted from PAWS will be current on their vaccinations and spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to their release.

We are an organization determined to work for the benefit of animals in need. Whether it be helping to find new homes for our adoptable friends or working in connection with local and City agency's to investegate cases of cruelty and neglect. We have a large facility and staff that is able to handle a wide variety of these types of issues as well as working with animals with behavioral, socialization, or training issues.
