My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Miles, the adorable 13lb, 8-year-old Malshi! This lucky boy has beat the odds by surviving a vicious attack and is now seeking a forever home filled with love.

Miles is funny, playful, and highly entertaining! He loves to run around with his cherished pink elephant in tow. This silly boy adores cuddles and belly rubs too, but loves nothing more than to be by his human's side. His social nature extends to dogs of all sizes and cats alike.

While Miles is a happy old soul, he's not a fan of his daily eye drops for dry eyes, a small price for a lifetime of companionship. Because this condition has resulted in some vision impairment, it is recommended that Miles finds a home without small children or a pool. He navigates really well and enjoys leashed walks.

Miles is house-trained and crate-trained with the minor need for a belly band in unfamiliar environments. Although he doesn't bark frequently, when he does, it's so irresistibly cute.

If you're ready to open your heart to this little Luck Dragon, Miles is waiting to share his never-ending story of love, joy, and companionship with you!

More about this rescue

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
