I’m ready to jump into my forever family don’t let my name fool you I’m one of the calmer puppies in my foster home.
I’d love to have an active family who enjoys taking adventures and trying new things. But also a family who will snuggle up next to me after a long day. My story is typical for unvaccinated puppies in Houston. Me and my brother who sadly passed away found ourselves alone in the street as strays and fell ill with parvo virus. My body was strong enough to fight it off my but I lost the only friend I’ve had. But thankfully my foster mom gave me new ones with my foster siblings who I adore.
Everyone is my best friend and I love to play with everyone. Toys and treats are my biggest motivation. I am house trained I use a doggy door which is awesome cause I can go okay outside whenever I want.
If you’re looking for a handsome dude to add to your family I’m your guy. I promise to be your best friend and your biggest fan.
Note: The above bio on the dog reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. We provide adopters current information on our dogs; we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners. Since they are rescue dogs we guess breed of looks.
Our adoption fees vary, according to species, size, age and other issues. Discounts apply in some cases. Our adoption fee covers dewormed, heartworm tested (if over 6 months), started on heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, vaccinated for bordetella, dhppv, rabies (if age appropriate) and microchipped as well as spay/neuter at our preapproved vets. All puppies not altered due to age will under a foster to adopt contract until completed and an additional deposit of $100 will be required- deposit will be refunded upon completion of surgery.
We expect our dogs to be adopted by families who understand- these are rescue dogs, they will need time to decompress, routine and stability. We put our lives into saving these dogs- we expect their new families to be prepared for a lifetime commitment before applying- dogs are not recyclable.
Please do not send an email inquiring about a dog. Please fill out the adoption application found at https://www.rangersreach.org/ We are 100% volunteer ran we try as hard as we can to get through applications as fast as possible. If we spend all our time answering inquires and emails, we have no time to look over applications. Please do not apply until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. We do not hold dogs for any reason. We do try to be fair and go in the order applications are received. If no response, decision or adoption is made we must move on to the next application. Applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will receive that dog.
WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE HAVE NO BRICK AND MORTAR LOCATION-- WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE, ALL DOGS ARE IN PRIVATE FOSTER HOMES.
If we if we think your home might be a good fit, we will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application. We do check references, use social media, been verified, do phone interview/emails, and home check will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog.
