Antonio, or as he is better know, "Tony or "Mr. Bologna is nothing but a happy-go-lucky boy who brings joy to every single person he meets! He was found as a stray this past winter and was put as rescue only because he was shut down at the shelter. However, the moment he got out, he has been the picture of joy! Tony is goofy, playful, and as sweet as can be. He is roughly two years old, 58 lbs, and is a pit bull terrier/boxer mix. Tony is a well-behaved boy, but still has some puppy tendencies. Don't let his silly personality fool you. Mr. Bologna is a very smart boy! He knows sit and learned lay down in less than 10 minutes!
Tony is completely housebroken and crate-trained and does great around kids (he is a little jumpy, but is great at being redirected), and LOVES people! Tony has met dog friends well and would do best with a slow introduction. Tony is a little too excited around cats, so he would do best in a no cat home.
Below are some of Tony's favorite activities:
- Tony loves bird and squirrel watching; he will sit and stare out the window all day if you let him! He also loves to chase them when he is outside!
- Tony loves going to the office with his foster mom. He loves greeting everyone that walks through the doors.
- He loves going for walks, hikes, and runs. Tony has run 4+ miles on multiple occasions!
- Mr. Bologna LOVES car rides!
- At the end of the day, Tony loves to curl up on the couch and snuggle with you (he thinks he is a lapdog)!
Tony is a dog that can adjust to any lifestyle. Love to sit and watch TV all day? Great, he will keep you company on the couch! Love to hike? Tony is an excellent adventure buddy. He truly is a great dog and would make a wonderful addition to any family that he joins.
