My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you ready to welcome a little bit of feisty charm and a whole lot of cuddles into your life? Marcie is the perfect addition to any home seeking a companion with a unique personality and an abundance of love to give.

At first glance, Marcie may seem a tad shy, and you might even catch a hiss or two as she sizes up her surroundings. But don't let that fool you! Once she settles in and feels comfortable with her humans, Marcie transforms into the ultimate cuddle bug. There's nothing she loves more than snuggling up on a warm lap and enjoying some quality bonding time. She's also a talkative purr machine.

This adventurous feline has a curious spirit that keeps her constantly exploring her environment. From investigating nooks and crannies to chasing after toys, Marcie's zest for life is infectious. And when it comes to treats, she's all ears! Once she's familiar with her surroundings, Marcie becomes incredibly treat-motivated, making her a joy to train and spoil.

Marcie has a special bond with her brother, Snoopy. These two are inseparable companions, sharing moments of playfulness and relaxation alike. Whether they're curling up together for a cozy nap or engaging in a spirited game of chase, Macie and Snoopy prove that love knows no bounds.

Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet.

This kitten is currently in a foster home. To meet this kitten, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adopt

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
