Hi there, I'm Teressa, a 1.5-year-old, 68-pound, brindle, Mountain Cur mix. I'm looking for a compassionate and caring family who will love and be with me as much as possible. I'm a well-mannered dog who loves to snuggle with you and give kisses. I am so polite, I even wait for the vet while patiently seated in a chair!
I'm great on a leash. I love people and I'm very loyal to them. I want to have people of my own who will treat me like a princess. I'm good with other dogs and even cats!
I'm vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. I have heartworms which my rescue will have me treated for, and I'll be fine soon. I'm house trained but I don’t like the crate or being left alone. I have some separation anxiety and I cry when I'm left by myself. I need a family who will understand my feelings and help me work on this. I would do best with a family who is not away from the home most of the day. Maybe with a stay-at-home mom or work-from-home professional.
I'm being fostered near Nashville, TN, but I can be transported for the right-fitting family. You must be 21 or older to apply, and you must be ready to give me a lot of love and attention. If you think you can be my forever family, fill out an application. I can't wait to see you!

Our Mission
Operation Save A Shelter Dog is a foster based, IRS-recognized 501c(3) rescue whose mission is to work with shelters on the East Coast by saving dogs at high risk of euthanasia or that have little hope of adoption in their current condition. Not only is it our goal to find furever homes for our dogs, but also to educate the public on the importance of spaying, neutering, vaccinating and providing preventative care for their pets.
