My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

APRIL ADOPTION PROMOTION: adopters of any pet over 6 months of age may PAY WHAT THEY LIKE through 4/30/24 (adoption just needs to be confirmed by 4/30, pet parent may bring home their new friend after that date)

Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/Application
Please do not call the shelter; do the application first.

Magnum, an 8 month old fluffikin with Resting Grump Face, arrived as part of a feral colony that needed to be removed from their home property after the owner's untimely death.

Unlike the majority of the cats in this group, who are all now spayed/neutered and waiting for suitable barn or shop homes, Magnum let us know he was willing to be a companion cat for the right people. He says if you are willing to let him be himself, warm up to you slowly, and you will not subject him to the indignities of screeching toddler birthday parties, he will reward you with initial suspicion and slow acceptance, followed by mutual respect and eventually a snuggle (when he initiates it). He gets along well with other cats and appreciates mellow, zen-like living spaces.

Can you get your "om" on with Magnum? He'd love that.

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Magnum is a suggested minimum of $50 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
