My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fudgems has lived his short life so far on the streets. A very kind TNR (trap-neuter-return) volunteer contacted us after finding him, and we just KNEW he would warm right up to living life as an indoor, loved pet!! We're still learning about Fudgems, but so far we know that toys are his love language... he's wondered where they've been all his short life! We also have noticed that he feels more confident with another cat around, tolerates dogs and being held, but has 'fear of missing out' and just wants to play. He's not really playing with other cats, (at least not so far) but instead just wants to know they are there to come out of his hiding spot. He should be ok with kids (but maybe no stomping toddlers that would chase him... He's still a little too nervous for that.)

He is timid at first, but is very smart and is learning his feeding schedule and name. He hasn't been destructive but he will need puzzles or another cat to keep him out of trouble as he loves to investigate and learn how indoor life works

Fudgems still has baby teeth and is learning to not bite hard, listens to "no". He was literally just plucked from the streets earlier this year and is already very trusting and purrs when petted. He also chirps and squeaks at toys or when he can't find where his cat friend went.

He thinks he's an athlete but ends up being very comical and goofy. He always has us laughing and saying, "Ahhh, Fudgems!"

Included with the adoption is the neuter, all applicable birth-to-one-year FVRCP, FeLeuk and first round of rabies vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. We offer a 2-week getting acquainted period and a 2-week wellness guarantee, so you can comfortably settle in with your new kitty!

To apply to adopt, please complete an adoption inquiry at www.bluesmews.org so our adoption specialist volunteer can review it and contact you!
