Lake, born approximately 9/14/23, certainly has had it rough.. it could be said she was a diamond in the rough but happily she has become more diamond than rough. And what a sweetheart this girl has become! She's a strong one and can certainly hold her own.. she takes her time warming up to other kitties and hisses her way until she's comfortable. It's probably preferable that she is an only since even though she may take a bit to learn to trust, when she finally blossoms, she is the sweetest, purriest, silliest and quite the talker when she's cuddling in your lap! But as she gets used to other kitties, she can sometimes play a bit rough with other kitties and she can be very particular with kitty mates. She actually talks herself to sleep with the tiniest mews you've ever heard. What a joy. Lake would do best in a quiet home, with her humans allowing her time to trust and become her meek, purry, cuddly self. You'll never regret giving time to this girl; the payoff will be more than you can ask for.

Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays from noon to 4pm.
