Bella was born on New Year's Eve right before the start of Covid shutdowns. She spent many of her formative months alone with us, as we were unable to bring her around other people at the time. She gets extremely anxious and scared around anyone that comes to the door or inside the house. She will keep barking and shaking until the new person pets her, and even after she will still be full of anxiety. This can be a very scary experience for our older kids' friends. Especially as this occurs almost every time unless the person is over regularly. We once spoke to her vet who explained that there was a crucial time during the first few months that Bella should have been introduced to other people, and this window was missed due to Covid. She has occasionally growled at our smallest, and recently swiped at him with her paw which left a red mark on his nose. She can no longer be in a house with young children, and we are due for another baby soon. She is great without children around.
