Hello meet Valentina, Captain of the Velcro Club. Valentina may have a hard life before HPA but that does not stop her from smiling. She is a sweet and loving pup who loves to be close to her person or fur-sibling. Valentina is dog friendly and will ignore other dogs while walking, but she does love to chase a squirrel. We are working on leash manners, she picks up quickly especially with treats and lovins. If Valentina isn't playing she is snoring near by. She does well in her crate and can be left alone. She is friendly, but wary of new people/men. Valentina would love to cuddle you for life.

Submit Application

Whether you're interested in a specific pet or not, fill out our application online at houstonpetsalive.org.

2.
Meet the Pet

Once your application is approved, a meet and greet will be set up between you and your pet of interest.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If the meet and greet goes well and your adoption application is approved, you will sign the adoption contract.

4.
Pay Fee

Once the adoption contract is signed, you will pay the adoption fee.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Bring your new best friend home! Remember that it will take some time for him/her to adjust to their new environment.
