Meet Cherry, the darling 3-year-old 10lb Chihuahua with a heart as big as her petite frame. Rescued from the shelter while heavily pregnant, Cherry stole our hearts from the moment we laid eyes on her. Determined to provide her with the love and care she deserved, we welcomed her into our rescue family just in time to save her from giving birth in the shelter.

Despite her past, Cherry is filled with sweetness and love. She adores her humans and has a gentle disposition that melts hearts wherever she goes. Cherry gets along famously with everyone she meets, both human and furry alike.

You will likely find her wrestling around and doing zoomies with her foster siblings or running around the house with stuffed toys in her mouth. Cherry's favorite pastime? Snuggling up close with her beloved humans, showering them with affection and warmth. With her charming personality and devotion, Cherry is ready to fill your home with endless love and joy.

Additional adoption info

We require an application, application approval, meet and greet, home check, adoption fee and a contract.

2 months -12 months: $425
1 year - 6 years $375
7 years+ - $325

Adoption fee includes :

Shots up to date of adoption, wellness exam, fecal test,
Spay/neuter, Micro-chip and any other medical needed.

We also require to stay first on the micro-chip info for life and have a life time return policy on all our rescue dogs adopted out.

Unfortunately, we do not adopt out of state under any circumstances. We recommend that you visit your local shelter or dog rescues in your area if you are looking to adopt.

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization that cannot survive without the help of loving fosters, volunteers, and benefactors.
