My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meow, I'm Raisin, the 7-month-old brown and white tabby, a mysterious marvel with a heart that beats to the rhythm of my own drum. Life's a ballet, and I pirouette with feline grace. My tabby stripes tell tales of strength. I'm a master of finding the perfect sunlit corner and savoring quiet moments. Seeking a human confidant who understands my desire for a family to call my own. If you're ready for a companion , adopt me, Raisin - your feline friend who'll add a touch of charm to your life.

More about this shelter

Little Traverse Bay Humane Society is dedicated to providing animals the tender, loving care and attention they need to become adoptable companions.

From our humble beginning in 1951, Little Traverse Bay Humane Society has grown to meet the needs of homeless dogs and cats. Since moving to our state-of-the-art facility at 1300 West Conway in Harbor Springs, Michigan, in 2001, Little Traverse Bay Humane Society has sterilized more than 10,000 animals owned by community members and has placed more than 5,000 animals into loving homes.

In addition to being an adoption center, Little Traverse Bay Humane Society offers a variety of proactive programs to help shelter animals become adoptable companions including the “Pit Stop Program,” the “Ruff-to-Ready Scholarship Program,” “Spay-it-Fourward,” the “Animals Need to Give Everybody Love (ANGEL) Program,” boarding, grooming, daycare, and a full-service veterinary clinic.
