My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lacey

Lacey, a 2-year-old shepherd mix full of potential, found her way to ARC after being trapped in the Benton area. With no one missing her and the only other homeowners in the area having moved three months ago, Lacy's history remains a mystery.

This sweet girl has unlimited potential to be an incredible family dog, she just needs a little help overcoming her fears. Are you the patient and understanding family she's been waiting for? At the shelter, Lacey gains comfort and delight from spending time outside, going for slow strolls around the property and bonding with other dogs while they play in the yard.

Lacey is spayed, microchipped & up to date on all vaccinations. Want to give her a forever home? Go to our website: www.nokillarc.org to fill out a pre-approval form! (It can be found under the ‘adoptable dogs' section).

Animals are shown by appointment only at our shelter, which can be arranged by contacting Vicki Hess directly at vicki@nokillarc.org.

Animal adoption fees vary depending on the animal. Understand that ALL animals from Animal Resource Center are spayed / neutered, up to date on vaccinations, have had blood / parasite screening and will be microchipped upon adoption.

If interested in adopting an animal from Animal Resource Center after scheduling an appointment to meet them, you must fill out an application and provide a vet reference as well as two personal references.

If your application is approved, we will conduct a home visit with the animal to ensure that your home and family members are a good fit for them and you!
