Houdini is a smart dog! He figured out how to open a few of our kennel latches, hence his name! Houdini is a gentle boy, but he does sometimes jump. Houdini will need to be the only pet in the house. He loves toys, and he loves to explore. A fenced in yard will be best for him.

More about this shelter
New Hope Animal Shelter is a 501(c)(3) private nonprofit organization servicing Volusia County Florida since 1955.
Our policy is no-kill. We will NOT euthanize an animal to make room or to reduce pet overpopulation. “adoptable” means an animal is healthy and well-adjusted, not ill or injured, and can be safely made available to the public for adoption. We reserve the right to refuse admission due to space availability, or if the animal is dangerous, in poor health, or otherwise deemed un-adoptable.
