You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Benny is a super sweet young fellow who is estimated to be 11 months old as of February 18, 2024. Benny was born outdoors but started eating on a homeowner's back porch at an early age along with his Mom, Tiki (also available for adoption), and littermates. The homeowner eventually lured Benny into his house but also let him back out periodically over time. The person finally realized that adding yet another cat to the household was not a good idea so Benny came into Cat Shack foster care.
Benny is still on the timid side, just learning the ropes in his multi-cat foster home. He very much enjoys being petted by his foster mom when he is feeling brave, but at other times he stays out of easy reach in a spot where he feels safe. There is no doubt that time will work wonders as this gentle young cat feels more at ease.
Benny is in beautiful condition, negative for feline leukemia and FiV and has used the litter box perfectly right from the start. He gets along well with all the other cats and hopes to be adpted to a home in which he will have a feline buddy.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
