Aside from being cute as a button, Florence’s main goal in life is simple – to bring joy and happiness to her favourite humans. She wants to be friends with everyone! Florence is one year old and is very gentle, sweet and playful. With the cutest little squeak instead of a meow, she likes a response in return when she squeaks to you. She’s a curious girl and likes to explore and sit on the window sill to watch the world go by. Don’t leave fabric bags or clothes on the floor – they’re her favourite place to catnap. Showing off her athleticism, Florence loves to pounce on her toys when they're tossed in the air. But her absolute favourite thing is playing with the laser light, chasing that elusive red dot for hours without getting tired. Full of energy, she loves to run around – and she’s quite fast too – chasing soft balls, golf balls and cat toys. An expert jumper, she likes to jump on the table and bookcases. When she’s tired from running around she will crawl into your lap for a cuddle. She might not stay long, but while there, she loves to have her face and chin scratched, sometimes allowing a short chest rub. Florence has a quiet, sweet little purr that you will hear when she cuddles with you in bed. When it’s time to get up, she’ll follow you out of bed and loves being in the bathroom with you. Running water is another favourite of hers! We aren’t sure how she is with other cats or dogs. Florence would love to have someone home often to keep her company.
Florence was found alone in the hallway of an apartment building. She walked right into her finder’s apartment and made herself at home. Despite putting up posters looking for an owner, no one came forward.
Florence is a funny, sweet and gentle girl who is loved by everyone who meets her. While she may be a little shy at first, with help of her favourite laser light, she will be running around in no time! She is ready to find her home at last and hopes to find her forever home with you!
