Skittles was adopted as a kitten and given away as an adult. This was fairly traumatic for a sensitive girl like Skittles. Then she was given to us, and again, this was a big upset for Skittles. Now, she truly wants to feel at home with an experienced, quiet cat family. She wants to feel that she has finally settled into her own space with people she trusts. Then she will be a chatty, lie-in-a-warm-puddle-of-sunshine cat, and her once-happy disposition will shine.
Skittles is about 7 years old, spayed, FIV/Felv negative, UTD on vaccinations, treated for parasites, microchipped (with lifetime free registration), and fostered/ socialized in a loving family home. More about this rescue
We are an all foster based cat rescue, all of our cats are fostered in our volunteer's homes, we do not have a physical location. We are very active in TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return). We personally go out and trap friendly and feral cats and their kittens, when the cats are Feral they are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and returned to their colony and when they are friendly we evaluate, fully vet, and foster them until they are adopted. When the funding is available we also supply food to low income individuals who care for feral colonies.
