My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Willow was found as a stray right before Thanksgiving with a bad case of mange, and the little pink, scabby, bald dog has turned into a brown and white dog. She has a white face with a brown patch over her left eye and brown ears; her neck is white and her back and legs are brown, with white feet. Her tail is all brown except for a white tuft at the end. Found as a scared stray with mange, Willow has come into her own with her foster mom and the resident dogs! She has gained confidence, and loves to run around and play, and equally loves to curl up with you for a good snuggle session. It’s been fun watching her fur grow back, as no one had any idea what color she would be, as she started off bright pink!

Willow is a total sweetie, and will love you hard! She will go on adventures with you, and curl up on the couch with you for snuggles post-adventure. Willow is a good mix of high energy and cuddle bug. She definitely needs her daily walks, and another dog who will run around and play with her would be great for her! Willow spent a week with a foster family with younger kids, and LOVED them. She likes playing with them, cuddling with them, and even lets them dress her up in cute outfits! Willow also currently lives with a cat and she is very interested in playing with her, the cat does not reciprocate these feelings, so Willow is learning about boundaries.

Willow is good in the car, loves going on walks, and loves to hang out close to her humans. She’s a great companion dog! Willow loves other dogs, and loves playing with the resident dogs. On walks, when she sees other dogs she is curious, but cautious, and does not act out or try to go play with them.

Willow knows "sit", "kennel up", and "come". Really, her best trick is being cute. She is working on crate training but is not a fan, so a home where she doesn't need to be crated for long periods would be a good fit.

Three words to describe Willow? Snuggly, athletic, and curious! Looking for a playful cuddle bug to complete your home?
