This adoption is NOT through Furry Nation Salvation and is a Courtesy Post. Please call the individual listed below with any further questions or to set up a time to meet the pet. Thank you.

Please call/text Harley at this number if interested: 646-748-8650

Stewart is located in Ponce Inlet

This super affectionate boy was abandoned at a colony I feed at. He’s always been so sweet and personable I knew I didn’t want to leave him outside as he didn’t belong there . Now that he’s been indoors I know it was the right decision. He loves being inside and getting chin rubs and attention. Rolling in Catnip and attacking his kicker is his favorite pastime. He’s very affectionate and learning how to play with toys. He’s still weary of mirrors and the television but he’s adapting nicely. He’s shy around new people and it will take a little time and patience for him to trust you, but it’s totally worth it with his loving demeanor and handsome looks .
He would do well in a calm household preferably without young children and NO dogs. I’m not sure how he will be with other cats as he was a bit of a loaner at the colony. I have him separated from my resident cats which are extremely interested in him and try to play with him under the door but he seems not interested in them. He’s approximately 2-4 years old.
He has been neutered, vaccinated, FIV negative, cat leukemia negative and given a round of revolution for fleas and heart worms.

HE IS EATING Friskies PATE WET FOOD twice a day and some dry food (meow mix).
Please make sure he gets wet food daily to help him avoid those expensive vet bills as cats have a low thirst drive and need the moisture in the wet. Learn more below —

Also - be sure to bring a plastic cat carrier like in images as he use this like a dog crate. He feels very safe and comfortable in his carrier so it should be left open in whatever room you first introduce him to. If you just want to take the current one he’s using please bring $40 to purchase it (It’s a very nice Petmate Two Door Top Load Cat Kennel size Medium) He’s currently using Fresh 4 Life Eco-Grass clumping cat litter from Pet Supermarket on Nova and Dunlawton.

:::::::::::Please know that cats need canned wet food given DAILY. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too!  Limit the overly processed dry food and ensure cat eats all the wet food daily:::::::::::: More info here: FurryNationSalvation.Org/wetfood

IF YOU WANT TO ADOPT:
1) Please show up with a cat carrier or bring $40 to purchase current one he’s using.
2) Small adoption fee of: $25
3) I will call/text one month from adoption day just to make sure everything is going well
4) Please show up with your Driver's License.
5) Information sheet will be filled out (your information as well as mine)

*Please know, that when you bring your newly adopted cat home, it is always BEST to place him/her in a small room (bathroom works great) with their litter box, food, water, and bed for a few days to a few weeks. This way the animal can adjust much quicker and get acclimated to the new environment with less stress. All cats/kittens need time to adjust, so if you adopt please allow this. Thank you.

Call/text Harley at 646-748-8650 if you’re interested in Stewart.
