-This group of hamsters came in from another rescue in WV who wasn’t having any luck placing them in homes. Unfortunately the further south you go, the less likely small animals get adopted :/. So they came here to try and find a forever home! These guys are typical active babies and jump a little bit at first when you pick them up but are easily handled and don’t bite! Kiwi is an adventurous girl and on her first transport here chewed out of the carrier and had an adventure in a van for a few days until she was caught again. We recommend this little plastic chewer to have a tank or metal based cage! We recommend large size hamster cages for Syrians (critter trail cages are not sufficient), with lots of activities, things to climb on and chew, and solid bottomed wheels to run on, as well as a good healthy hamster diet supplemented with fresh foods.
