My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Atlas, an adorable Alaskan Husky (or so I've been told). I have the waggiest of waggy tails and love snacks. I've been learning to walk on a leash while at DCHS, and the staff keeps telling me how well I'm doing. I'm looking for someone to help me continue working on my newfound skills. Walks are so much fun!

I'm quite playful and have been known to chase other animals so I should go to a home without cats, critters or small dogs. However, I think I would like to have another playful dog about my own size to play with. I am a little fearful in new situations so I would probably be happiest in a home without small children. Once I'm comfortable though, I love to play bow and run zoomies!

Medical History: I appear to be quite healthy but it is always a good idea for you to set up an appointment with a veterinarian when I come to live with you, so I can meet them (plus, I hear vet offices have great treats!). I hope we get to meet soon.
