My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bessie came to our household as a result of her previous owner being unable to care for her--in lieu of her going to a shelter, she came to our house. Bessie came to us at about 1.5 years old. She's now closer to 2 years old as we've had her for about 5 months. At the time Bessie came to our household, it was already home to 4 small dogs (2 of which are seniors), so it's been hard to adequately give her the love and attention that she needs. Bessie is energetic, playful, and likes attention. She's working on things like not barking in the house and walking appropriately on a leash (which has improved with the gentle-leader leash). Bessie would love to have a family of her own.
