My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Coco is the perfect tortie princess. She has an independent streak, which shows up as watchfulness when she meets new humans. She prefers to hang back and observe them for a bit, while she decides if they are worthy to give her a head scratch and some affection.

Coco gets along with the other kittens at the shelter. She is willing to play and wrestle with them, but seems equally content to play on her own. When she finds a toy that she likes, she will claim it and carry it around to keep it away from the other cats.

Coco is now about 5 months old. She is spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccines. She would thrive in a home with another young cat to be her playmate. She also needs a human with the patience to let her set the pace.

If you don't already have another young cat, one of her shelter friends would be happy to go home with her.
