Here's what the humans have to say about me:
LOVERBOY SEEKS FAMILY FOR ALL THE CUDDLES This sweet, wiggly, tail-waggy boy is Aslan. We don`t know his story, or how he got his scars. When he arrived at the shelter these marks already seemed to be old. But they don`t bother him a bit - and he loves, LOVES people and affection! Aslan is living in a foster home with 3 small dogs and a cat, and has done great! (His foster family say he would do very well in a home with a cat, and that their smallest dog (5 lbs) is his favorite to sleep next to.) Aslan needs virtually no warmup time with strangers - he loves meeting people. He loves climbing into laps. He loves sleeping with his head on your shoulder or leg. He`s one of the lovingest dogs I`ve ever met. Although he loves to be close to his people, he does well when left alone and is quiet in a crate. He`s house-trained and has had no accidents. He`s very treat-motivated, knows `sit`, and is working on other commands - he really enjoys training as it means treats and attention from his people. He`s an easy-peasy boy who just wants someone who will keep him safe. (And pet him a lot.) You can reach Aslan`s foster family through the `I`m interested` link. This boy is ready to be home!
